Pensacola isn't known as a liberal bastion, but you would never guess that in a local political forum, hardly anyone ever sticks up for the Pussy Grabber. Why am I not surprised?

PkrBum

PkrBum

Almost everyone with any conservative leanings has been run off of the forum... one way or another.

But you know that.

Vikingwoman

The biggest reason is they suck as human beings and have a warped sense of humanity.

The only ultra conservative banned that I know of was Markle. Peedawg quit on his own. Am I right? If so, my point is valid: why are there so few conservatives here? Maybe Pensacola is a secret liberal dominated region? LOL

It must be nice to be clueless.

Thank you for agreeing with me that Markle was the only conservative banned here.

LOL is right. Sure couldn't prove it by me. My next door neighbor's had a Trump flag flying on his balcony ever since the campaign. You'd think by now he'd be hiding it. With Trumpism, hope springs eternal, I guess.

I don't know why they're not on this forum but it's too bad, because now more than ever is when this country needs to come together and talk out some solutions. Trouble is, there was never a chance of that anyway, with the con's who were here before.

And now I'm just rambling, sorry.

Sometimes I think you're at your best when you ramble! Every day that goes by Trump exhibits poor judgement, emotional and psychological problems, a monster ego, and the temperament of a 7-year-old. For the life of me I can't figure out what his supporters still see in him worth cheering about. I miss hearing directly from them.

I saw a bumper sticker that only had the "Tr" remaining, the rest had been scraped off.

But seriously, who can defend this guy? People in his campaign had/have contacts with Russian officials, his businesses present conflicts of interest, we will never see his tax returns, his security expenses are through the roof, his personality disorder is in full flower on a daily basis, his credibility is non-existent, his cabinet picks are poised to destroy agencies from the EPA to State and the list goes on. Here's the latest cover of Time.

When a person is only interested in transparency and accountability when it's the other party...

they will never get them from either party. We need to seriously change politics in this country.

Part of our problem with 45 is that up to this point anyone who ran for president had enough respect for accepted tradition to show their tax returns past and present. Unfortunately there is no law requiring that they do so. It was assumed I guess, that no one could even get their party's nomination or be taken seriously without doing so. This should be a law, that's one thing that needs to be changed.

When a scandal or even discrepancy is suspected the fbi storms the govt/candidate office immediately and gathers to retain ALL evidence. No more deleted or lost shit... no more 5th amendment for govt employees.

I think every person that wants to work for the govt should sign over certain rights and a code of conduct. No more public unions... period. Whistleblowers that uncover illicit activity are protected and rewarded. I think there are other ideas that might be too far out there... but the govt has no problem storming a house about weed... and taking peoples property. I want the table turned... I want the govt to fear the populace.

Conservatives have a difficult time defending their positions in an honest, reasonable, factual conversation.

It's best they talk among themselves.  Let rhetoric rein.

tRump is too difficult to defend. Even for them.

With only the dumbest of the dumb willing to try.
You know who you are.

LMAO... give me a break. Who needs safe zones? Who can't tolerate other opinions? Who bans posters?

You snowflakes trying to turn that crap around is comical. Own it comrade.

I do not want public unions banned, but I sure think they should not have the right to strike. I think police and fire have strangled local government with either indirect threats, or this idea that government waste and inefficiency can be rationalized because these folks risk their lives for our benefit. I am sorry. Get another job. The folks who choose this profession should know the deal. We have become a militaristic fascist society where people in uniforms who work for the government have been elevated to some type of subtle military worship. I think we should have the courage to separate the militaristic ideology from government efficiency and sound public policy. The violence in Chicago in my opinion is mostly about the Chicago police unions who hold that city hostage, and simply walk away from their responsibility when the community demands they act like public servants......these public unions have become too powerful and must be challenged by elected officials, but it must start by eliminating this fantasy about the elevation of folks in uniform. Our founding fathers warned us about standing armies and militarism. We must heed those warnings.

How, in your ideal world described here, does the government end up fearing the populace? The scene you paint sounds like Gestapo tactics. People are guilty and have no rights of privacy? Don't Tread on Me? This is freedom?

For govt employees... yes. If you want to be a public servant of any kind... sign over certain rights.

If constitutional protections can be granted to govt officials... it can certainly be altered.

Congratulations to Pkrbum and Othershoe! At last we're discussing politics instead of just insulting each other. Miracles never cease!
Pkrbum does have a point about legal immunities afforded governmental employees, in congress or out.

On the same line of thinking, why do members of congress receive free medical care for themselves and their families, and we don't?

Actually they don't - they use the same plans used by all federal employees. It's a good plan though but then the Federal Gov spares no expense for themselves.

The jokes on you. The conservative win of last Nov, has wore off and degraded into a 21st century version of Keystone Cops.

You guys elected a buffoon, and now you have to live with it. Very Happy
