Citizens petitioned the courts about the safety issues of the spillways. The government dismissed the same and now 200k people have been forced from their homes for at least two weeks. California has suffered drought mostly in the last decade and now is having torrential rains and the spillways have failed just like the citizen groups warned. This country needs to spend money on infrastructure and not wars. All the fricking projects in Iraq paid for by Americans while enriching MIC, and we could lose hundreds of thousands of citizens because we have no money to spend on Americans.
