The guy is a constant train wreck and I have a sneaking suspicion he will quit sooner rather than later but then I didn’t think he had a snowballs chance in the Sahara Desert of winning.

When you start seeing more of Bannon, Spicer, Smith and Kellyanne instead of Trump

I really doubt he makes it 4 years before he quits or something else.

I think he is finding that the job is bigger than he is.

There's no way in hell this man will quit. No way! It would be far too devastating to his narcissistic self-image, and would basically spell the end of the Trump brand. You'll never, ever see that happen.

OK, but yeah, I, too, never thought he could win the election. So I'm not perfect. But on this one I'm almost willing to bet the farm.

I have argued that he will not last two years. My reasoning is that in a pluralistic democracy power is distributed and that in my opinion will be what makes him quit. He will be reigned in by his own party, the media, and the courts, and he will leave. However, I think he bores very easily, and building things is his passion, and he seems to have become pretty good as a construction manager, and he probably will want some of his old life back. The loss of privacy will also hasten his decision.

I'm afraid it's wishful thinking to believe he won't hold out 'til the bitter end. Don't forget his pride comes first, and thus he'd much rather be miserable than be branded a quitter (read: loser). Impeachment seems more likely than resignation, though even that remedy has a long way to go before ever becoming close to a reality.

It's depressing, but I think we're stuck with him unless he does something so totally outrageous and traitorous as to clearly warrant impeachment and removal from office -- something that would require a bipartisan effort.
