I just left Bob a message whether he listen's or not is a different story. First off I have already checked about this co pay. Solaris must be confused on what plan he is on, he is on BlueMedicare regional PPO. He met his max out of pocket I believe I saw from his EOB back in May his max was met. He has not paid a thing for any medical since.
If he was Medicare alone Medicare would pay 20 days of skilled nursing for free and then he'd have to pay a co pay for 21 through 100. Medicare Advantage replaces original Medicare and the same rules apply except if your max out of pocket is met when you reach skilled nursing it is paid at 100% for the 100 days. I don't know how they are filing his claims at Solaris but if they are filing through Medicare instead of his insurance company they are submitting claims wrong. On a Medicare Advantage you do not use your Medicare card.
In my message I told him the person coming to see him at the telephone number to home instead.
