Missing you along with our other great forum friends.....Teo (what I called him the entire time I knew him), Ghost, and Retired LEO.

You made an impact on our lives and each one of you are missed.

Thank you for the reminder of these people, Joanie (and happy birthday, Neko). Who was Ghost and how/when did this person die?

I remember RetiredLeo, as I had a PM relationship with him for a brief period.

I have been thinking about all of them this morning.  I remember when Retired Leo was literally on his death bed sending me PMs concerned about my health and being extremely helpful with my just removed lung.  I remember the horror of the random nature of Neko's illness, and how bravely she fought back to being able to post again.   I remember going in to my surgery finding out that T was ill, and rushing home to get the news from the surgery, and was crushed when he simpy was gone. The worse part I did not even know that Ghostrider had died, or was ill as he always talked about how he had been sparred illness his whole life. I missed his sports input.

What I most liked about Neko was no matter how I irritated her, she never attacked me personally(other than I was an arrogant know it all...which is absolutely true), but worked even harder to prove me wrong.  I remember her working for days to try to prove me wrong on something, and her diligence often paid off.  So time passes as we do, and after sharing time with people for a decade we sadly hate to see people leave, but there have been some great people over the years on the PNJ and here.......

You show up for school in the fourth grade not knowing who would be in your class, and in that moment in time your world is defined, the people in your world seem to have some permanency, but as you age you realize that there is no permanency, just the present which quickly changes tomorrow.

How true, Seaoat. I remember back in 1973, I asked my 80-something year old paternal grandfather how all of his friends were. His blunt response to me was: "They're dying!"

It's nice to remember them... especially when I feel so lucky that we didn't lose Bob.

I'm very thankful to have known them all.

If I remember correctly, he said that he was having some sort of stomach problems and indicated that there was a possibility of it being quite serious, and then vanished.

Sal....I remember he mentioned some gastric bleeding and said they thought it was "watermelon stomach".

What I remember with Ghostrider the most was that he would talk about living his entire life without really ever being sick. If you remember, T also had a very healthy life. The guy upstairs does not seem to have rules on when or why we leave this world.

Ghostrider was very knowledgeable about sports and when he quit posting, we pretty much lost the quality of discussions on sports which were often great on the old PNJ.

You're probably correct.

I don't remember the specifics.

I just remember thinking that could be bad and then nothing.

He was a good guy.

I didn't know Ghost had passed? I knew him through PM's and email. Does anyone know what he died of?

I think it is more of an assumption.....he told us about serious stomach issues and then nothing. If you have his email can you contact him?

It is sad when you lose members of our inner circle of friends.

I don't have his email anymore. It's been a long time.
