These are only pre season polls, but do you see any Illinois teams in the top 25? I don't.

Cal played Hawaii in Sydney, Australia yesterday. The game was aired on ESPN at 9:30 PM Central, but it was daytime Down Under.

Final score was Cal 51/Hawaii 31.

I am also very excited about college football! I am an unashamed UF Gators fan, and I will also follow the UWF Argos this coming season (as an alumnus, no less!). I will definitely watch the Argos' first home game on September 10th. I don't care which FBS teams are playing, I will be watching the Argos. There will be a HUGE local following for UWF, and their football history is only beginning---Let's hope they move to Division 1 within a few years!

Halftime score:

Appalachian State 13/Vols 3. Tennessee is being outplayed, including a hail-Mary pass with 1:24 left in the first half that was intercepted. We'll see how the second half goes.

On TV: The SEC Network.

Best game of the weekend. Wow...what a comeback for the Irish and then toe to toe with the Longhorns. Both teams are going to have a great season. I was pulling for the Irish. Hate overtime. Laughing
