The other two officers test the tint on May's truck window and tell him it's darker than the law allows.
"It's a factory truck that I've had for about seven years and I've never had any problem with the tint on my window," said May.
An hour later the officers release May. He says he's not upset with the city or police department.. He just hopes relations between law enforcement and the community improve.
"When people drive in neighborhoods they shouldn't necessarily be profiled also people who live in neighborhoods should understand that law enforcement they have an obligation and responsibility," said May.
May was not given a citation for the tint on his vehicle. The Pensacola Police Department and mayor's office had no comment on this situation.
