The P5+1 countries led by the United States under Barack Obama have caved in to Iranian demands and will not insist on inspections of nuclear installations as part of a deal on Iran's nuclear weapons program, Channel 1 reported Sunday.

If Iran has to open its nuclear facilities to UN inspections, then Israel needs to allow UN inspections of its nuclear facilities as well. Fair is fair.

You always do love to play the fool don't you?

The question was not popular, but it does have some legitimacy.  When Israel has been an advocate of military action against Iran, they enjoy a nuclear umbrella which threatens their neighbors.  If one is truly trying to deescalate conflict, should not this issue also be on the table?   And if asking this question is foolish, could you explain why?

Iran is an original signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. That they now refuse to honor their agreement should cause alarm bells to sound. Anyone who thinks they will abide by even the most cursory inspections needs to realize they can't be trusted as they have proven many times in the past. This doesn't mean we shouldn't pursue a shutdown of any weapons programs just that we need to keep our eyes wide open with them.

Those who think Israel is the bad dog in the Mideast needs to revisit an ACCURATE source of Mideast history and the Palestinian issue.

I've been to Israel several times on military missions and the very last thing everyone I met wants is any sort of fight. With anyone.......

Won't it be fun when an entire country is a suicide nuclear power...

Then why is Benjamin Nertanyahu so bent on attacking Iran and every Muslim nation around Israel? Spare us the excuse that they are "so threatened." Israel has been the military aggressor of most of the conflicts they have been involved in (with exception of perhaps the 1973 Yom Kippur War).

Obama sent Iran message ahead of nuclear deadline: report

Tehran (AFP) - US President Barack Obama recently sent a private message to Iran's leadership via Iraq's prime minister, an Iranian newspaper reported Monday on the eve of a deadline for a nuclear deal.

Hamshahri, Iran's highest-circulation daily, citing a lawmaker, said "one of the leaders of a neighbouring country" took the message from Obama to officials in Tehran.

The subject discussed was the nuclear talks between Iran and world powers led by the United States it said, without giving further details on its content.

The newspaper suggested that the message bearer was Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, who met Obama on June 8 on the sidelines of a G7 summit in Germany.

On top of the economic relief he's bribing them with 50b of our dollars. What exactly will that do for US?
