Oops.... Turnout so poor at women-only event for Hillary Clinton so that HAD to admit...MEN!

Curious, I wonder what would be said by the Democrats if male Republicans were having ALL MEN meetings.

Hillary allows men at ‘women-only’ event amid weak turnout

Hillary Clinton had trouble attracting high-powered women to a New York talk hosted by Silda Wall Spitzer two weeks before her campaign officially kicks off. Sources said that after ticket sales fizzled for an intimate, $2,700-per-person, “just for women” meeting on Monday, the event was thrown open to men at the 11th hour, and the deadline extended to buy tickets.

The “Conversation With Hillary Clinton” event at Midtown law firm Akin Gump was originally aiming to attract 125 women. An email invitation seen by Page Six said the event is “just for women.” But by Friday, “They’d only sold 50 tickets, so they threw it open to men,” a source said. “Ticket sales were supposed to close at 10 a.m. Sunday, but the hostesses were working the phones and pushed the deadline till Monday.”

We hear about 90 attendees included former Bill Clinton aide Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney and his husband, Randy Florke, Maurice Tempelsman, Jill Braufman (wife of hedge funder Daniel Nir), Jean Shafiroff and Susan Cole. The event began at noon, but Clinton arrived at 1 p.m. in “a royal blue jacket and black pants.” She then took pictures with donors and delivered a half-hour speech before leaving at about 2 p.m.

I wouldn't pay $2700 for dinner if the Pope,  Elvis,  Jesus and Mohammed were all there.
Well maybe Duane Allman,  but that's it. And only if he agreed to perform with the original band.

Yes, Hillary's supporters are facing a number of challenges, yet her river seems to just keep rollin' along, doesn't it? Meanwhile, the 9453 republicans also running for the presidency have their own challenges -- the greatest of which is fighting for a slice of the pie of the batshit, totally crazy teajadists -- who with one hand on their privates, and the other on their Bibles, are seemingly controlling the rest of the whacko party.

Hillary's problem at the event mentioned in this thread will be forgotten by everyone by the end of the week.

Meanwhile, the problems of the miscreant collection of the 123,000 republican candidates will continue to provide laughs for more than a year ....

Do you want to make a wager just for the fun of it.
And this has nothing to do with who I want to be president because frankly I couldn't care less who becomes president.
But I'll bet you ten dollars that a republican wins the presidency this time. Are you game?

Gosh.... If a Republican wins the presidency in 2016, his first overseas trip will be to Israel to give Benjamin Netanyahu a big BJ. While in Jerusalem, he will declare that the United States intends to make war against the world's Muslims, starting with ISIS, followed by attacking Iran. Meanwhile, he will start preparing to fight against China over its depredations in the South China Sea.

The only thing you will see on the homefront is a concerted effort to lower taxes, repeal the ACA, and do whatever the 1% commands. The deficit will climb considerably in order to fund all of the military contingencies we suddenly find ourselves in. The new president will blow this off and blame Democrats and former president Obama for his mounting deficits.

Fear? You've got to be kidding! The current republican theme song is: Send in the clowns! LOL

Republicans have a strong bench of candidates. Any one of which is superior to the current occupant in the Oval Office. Some with no chance of the nomination and those who do will be made stronger and more effective by the challenges. Even you know that to be true.

The latest Democrat Candidate believes that the solution to our sluggish, anemic economy is to convert to the metric system. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either.

If you believe that, you really have not been paying attention.  Romney is going to be the nominee......and he will beat your bench after South Carolina, and yes he was beat by the clearly superior candidate President Obama.  He will be beat by Hillary.

Romney was beat because he was too stiff, too formal. He should have had that boxing match a year before the election.

The 47% comment, while true, hurt him tremendously.

The help given to President Barack Hussein Obama during the Candy Crowley hosted debate saved President Obama from the knockout punch.

Have to agree with Seaoat on this one, Romney is stronger than any of the 123,478 other republican candidates, and even so, he couldn't win the presidency against Hillary or even Bernie Sanders. LOL

I hope it's another race between Clinton and Bush. We need another Clinton or Bush to straighten the country out and make it great again.

Financially and warwise, America did better under Clinton than any other post Korea president.

People who are mature and can think for themselves, didn't give a damn if Bill got a little on the side -- not as long as our economy was humming and we weren't spending a fortune on lost wars .... Reality.
