Tell us Wordslinger, what is the unemployment rate for a black man or woman with a bachelor's degree?

We lost in Vietnam.

We lost in Iraq.

We're losing in Afghanistan.

We're losing in Yemen.

We're losing in Libya.

At no point in our illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq did we resolve the tribal differences that create conflict between the Sunnis, shiias and Kurds.

With considerably more boots on the ground than we could afford, for a duration of decades, we might have controlled the three conflictive peoples who populate Iraq.

And it would have broken our own country.

Do you really expect us to believe your crapola that we "won" in Iraq?

You're a much bigger fool than I thought ... LOL

What the President Johnson Vietnam war has to do with this, I have no clue.  We lost because it was on TV.  Had WWII had as much TV coverage, you'd have lost that one for us too.  No, we lost in Vietnam because the American people never considered the North Vietnamese a real threat to our country.

As for Iraq, here is what your Progressives said about the victory.

Clinton also said Bush should not be faulted if banned weapons of mass destruction aren't found.

"I don't think you can criticize the President for trying to act on the belief that they have a substantial amount of chemical and biological stock. . . . That is what I was always told," Clinton said.
-  Former President Clinton Wednesday, April 16, 2003

"Could Be One of the Great Achievements of This Administration" The vice president said he’d been to Iraq 17 times and visits the country every three months or so. "I know every one of the major players in all the segments of that society" he said. "It's impressed me. I've been impressed how they have been deciding to use the political process rather than guns to settle their differences."
- Vice President Joe Biden (D) Feb. 10, 2010

How has the war President Barack Hussein Obama said we SHOULD have been fighting going?  How is the Middle East going now that President Obama is President?  Oh, Afghanistan just crossed 2,400 American fatalities.  Seventy percent of whom died since President Obama took office.  The war Obama fought in Iraq and in Afghanistan were wars he inherited.  Neither one of them was necessary to protect the safety of Americans.

Why do you constantly lie about simple to find FACTS?

Since I don't lie about facts, I have no response to your bullshit accusation.

That's a lie.  As you well know.

You added this to my quote:   The war Obama fought in Iraq and in Afghanistan were wars he inherited.  Neither one of them was necessary to protect the safety of Americans.

That too is a lie.

Seems that it just comes natural to you doesn't it?

Hello?

Civilian Conservation Corps did the work in forestry, national parks, etc.

Are you possibly meaning the WPA??   The Works Progress Administration -  public works in the construction and road construction arena?

Don't we have private companies in the construction area that are hiring?  In public works such as roadways?  I see people working these jobs all around me.

Where would the new WPA work be done?  And who pays for it?  More taxes?  Better budgeting of our present tax dollars?

Work in these areas would require drug testing?

Maybe I'm missing something...

Reality.  Tell us Semi-sane Markle, what percent of the young black men living in downtown Baltimore have graduated high school?.

Perhaps you are unaware that tax payers paid $1.8 BILLION in "stimulus" money to Baltimore. One of the main, so called recipients, education. Result...little or nothing.

You never heard me root for more money to be invested in education. Not once.  And why have you not been able to look up and show us your brilliance by announcing the percent of young black men from Baltimore who did graduate from high school?

Tell us your perspective -- you know, the one promulgated by the bloodsucking corporations that you worship -- of what needs to be done to solve the problem of unemployed and undereducated young black men living in ghettos of poverty in urban centers.  It's clear from your eccentric and fascistic commentary which virtually always attacks anything left of Attila the Hun, that you're absolutely incapable of bringing forth any idea that might correct or improve a faulty situation.

Reality!

Hey, it is what it is and like I said...it's across the board.
You brought up some interesting points.  Let me ask you, what are the elements necessary to instill in a child the desire to contribute and work towards desirable goals?

Where does the "drive to work" and achieve come from?

Inborn?  Environmental?

I'm all ears ...

Environmental.

Which, as we well know was severely damaged by Progressive President Lyndon Baines Johnson War on Poverty and his Great Society.

If you are, or whatever it is, you should be more clear. Many people would like to forget the failed social policies of the administration of FDR.

How as a social scientist do you measure the strength of a family unit?  Do you enjoy pulling pure bull Chit out of thin air or are you really this confused?

You, Wordslinger and your other comrades have been taught this before.  Why do you all prefer to feign ignorance?

2seaoat, have you accepted that you know the facts surrounding the collapse of the black family unit and simply choose to feign ignorance? If so, why. How do you expect to produce solutions if you simply cannot accept the problem?

Oh...that's right, Progressives don't want solutions, they want money.

The only people who consider the WPA and CCC projects that Roosevelt brought forward a failure, are fascist bastards, like yourself, who much prefer that when the economy fails (the causes of which are almost always the product of greedy, bloodsucking moves by the ultra rich) that nothing at all should be done to help the millions who have been forced to wait each day in long soup lines, in order to survive.

Fortunately, because of their arrogant and snotty attitudes and their ridiculous lying, they have little if any powers to persuade rational, decent people to their points of view. They do, however, provide a constant stream of laughable input . . .

Reality!

Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power. Benito Mussolini

Yes, and as we well know, it was FDR whose policies extended the Great Depression by SEVEN YEARS or more.

The poor may be poor but they are not stupid. Our welfare system rewards a single mother far more than a married couple. A big reason is that there is far less chance of a married household falling below the poverty level than a single parent.

So they are left with a difficult decision...MORE money from tax payers or LESS money from tax payers.

FDR's policies prolonged Depression by 7 years, UCLA economists calculate
By Meg Sullivan August 10, 2004

Two UCLA economists say they have figured out why the Great Depression dragged on for almost 15 years, and they blame a suspect previously thought to be beyond reproach: President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

[…]
"We found that a relapse isn't likely unless lawmakers gum up a recovery with ill-conceived stimulus policies."
[…]
"We show that they really did artificially inflate wages and prices."
[…]
"Ironically, our work shows that the recovery would have been very rapid had the government not intervened."
