Had to cancel the trip Sal . . . . TNDOT advised all roads were iced over so common sense trumped my enthusiasm to attend . . . . it would have been fun but could have turned out disastrous.

Best talent I have seen in only short spurts of watching tv in college basketball. Wisconsin should keep them honest.

Well......I hate the idea of Pace being the only prick.......I think we need to morph this thread or start another thread on the final four. We need to pick now four teams.

Once they do the brackets we will get to do a choice which will work with the brackets.....we will call this early predictions.
I take Wisconsin to win.....therefore fulfilling my prick status and relieving some pressure on Pace.

That's funny . . . . lemme give it some thought although your picks look very likely! Perhaps I should not have gone there with Mr. Dawg but because I too can be intolerant . . . . .

Sal, you probably already know this but our team had to remain in Starkville last night because of inclement weather with a practice scheduled for today at the site of last night's massacre . . . . . this is so out of the ordinary but it is my hope that this will not negatively affect the run up to their next significant challenge!

joani, you are correct about the strength of schedule but that is a reflection of how weak the SEC is this particular year. That said consider the currently ranked teams not in the SEC and the results:
#8 - KANSAS LOST 72-40
#15 - NORTH CAROLINA LOST 84-70
#17 - LOUISVILLE LOST 58-50
#25 - PROVIDENCE LOST 58-38
I will be the first to say that this team is so beatable. They are young and make bad passes, stupid fouls, fail to protect the paint despite their size but they are capable of winning it all without losing a single game? I seriously doubt it but they are a very special group of young talented athletes and I hope they can run the table to put us on the record with that great Indiana team of '76-'77 coached by Bobby Knight. So far so good . . . .

I have watched several of their games......they are talented and they have a good coach.

Without Jameis helping the 'Noles next fall, the 'big-choke' may happen well before the playoffs commence.....
I don't follow basketball, but from the looks of things, it appears like Kentucky is doing pretty well...... Good luck to all the fans!!
