Obama lies when accusing Romney of lying? I kid you not. I could not make this up.

As usual a liberal can only respond with personal attacks instead of at the heart of the issue.

Anyone who's ever gone to one of the fact checking sites is well aware that they post corrections about both political parties and statements made in campaign ads.
You cannot make the argument that because, in your opinion, the people in those organizations come to the material with a personal bias that the conclusions they come to or the data they present should be ignored.
Factual statements made by a liberal are still factual statements. Likewise factual statements made by a conservative are also true.

When Newhouse said they would not let their campaign be dictated by fact checkers he showed that they don't have any respect for the American voter.
To come back at Obama for saying the campaign said they would not let the truth get in the way is a difference without a distinction.

What Newhouse was not embarrassed to say was that their campaign would not be dictated by fact checkers. To me this says they don't care about the accuracy of their statements.

They are running an ad campaign and want you to buy Romney/Ryan: Wonder bread builds strong bodies 12 ways!

Who cares if it is true or not, just buy the damn bread.

Obama- a liar about lies

In some cases the posts on this forum are like fact checking. We make corrections and sometimes post data or video clips to back up a point.

Sometimes a person will even change their mind or admit they got something wrong, a rare but refreshing occurrence.
Sometimes of course a person is just venting or stating their opinion which is not the same thing as offering evidence.

Opinions are not the same as facts. Whether Ryan ran a super fast marathon for example can be fact checked.
Sometimes we just have opinions about something because it "feels" right. It is the "truthiness" of the position that is attractive. That's allowed and just fine. Sometimes truth is in the eye of the beholder too.
